Alison has been a Registered Manager with us for the past 5 years, following 10 years of experience as a Deputy Manager. She holds an NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care. Under Alison's leadership, her team consistently delivers exceptional person-centred care, fostering a warm, home-from-home atmosphere. They have also built strong community and intergenerational connections throughout the city. Belle Vue House is staffed by dedicated trained carers who aim to offer residents the opportunity to enhance their quality of life. We provide a safe and comfortable environment to give support and stimulation to our residents.
Residents can relax in the privacy of their bedroom or in one of the homes communal lounges which offer an informal space to chat with other residents, family or friends, and participate in activities and celebrations. There is lift access to all floors.
We put a lot of emphasis on the social side of our residents lives and we provide an activities programme which will take into consideration all of our residents’ views and choices.
Our qualified Chef provides a varied and exciting menu to incorporate choice and special preferences. Belle Vue House has a private garden accessed from the ground floor. The garden comprises a mixture of annual planting and relaxing seating.
The front seating area has full wheelchair access and the main door is key coded locked to ensure a safe environment is maintained at all times. We have a purpose built kitchen and laundry facilities. You can use any area of the home at any time.
We welcome professionals from the wider community into Belle Vue House, with services, such as hairdressing, chiropody and dental care available by arrangement. We work closely with everyone involved in the care and welfare of our residents, from family and friends to GPs, carers, nursing professionals and nutritionists to meet the demands of our commitment to providing the highest quality care.
Belle Vue House is registered with the Care Quality Commission and contracts with Sunderland City Council.
