Alex’s role is to ensure that Beech Tree House continues to honour and deliver its commitment to providing the highest quality of care in a luxury environment. She is responsible for the overall service delivery to customers and the wider community, leading and inspiring the onsite team to maintain exceptional standards of person-centred care.With over 30 years of experience in the health and social care sector, Alex has dedicated her career to managing and leading frontline care services. Throughout this time, she has been proud to work alongside many passionate and dedicated team members who share a genuine desire to serve others. Alex credits much of her professional growth to the valuable lessons learned from these colleagues along the way.Driven by a deep commitment to responsibility, integrity, kindness, and compassion, Alex believes wholeheartedly in doing what she can for others. The care sector has provided her with the opportunity to live these values every day - something for which she is truly grateful.Alex was immediately drawn to Beech Tree House because of the culture and principles that Prestwick Care embodies. Having recently joined the team, she is now passionately working with both the community and her colleagues to take the home’s services forward. As Brooke House is a specialist dementia residential / nursing care service, particular attention is paid to create a friendly environment using the University of Sterling’s model.
Consisting of 50 beds, each room has its own en-suite bathroom, fitted furniture, LCD television, interactive alarm system and mechanised bed. Assisted bath / shower rooms help aid the residents’ quality of life.
Internet access is available throughout as well as multi lift facilities. Lounges and dining areas are extremely spacious and dementia friendly, with breakout areas as well as private quiet rooms for residents and families.
