Eve Tierney
Director of Care
Eve has been a Registered General Nurse for over 20 years with a background in Surgical Nursing, ITU/CCU with the majority of her career managing the Accident Emergency Trauma Service in Glasgow.
She has vast experience within the private healthcare service, focusing on working with homes that have required change and development both from a care standard and business perspective.
Eve has developed excellent relationships with colleagues across health, CQC and the independent sector. She has been a Care Home Manager, a Regional Support Manager and has also worked within the pharmaceutical industry looking at the clinical aspect and effects of medication in relation to dementia care.
She holds various management qualifications alongside a diploma in dementia, and believes that every older person should be respected and cared for as an individual.
Fiona Payne
Head of Compliance
Fiona is a registered general nurse, a registered learning disability nurse and has over 30 years of experience of nursing in a variety of positions. The major part of her career has been in nursing homes working as a registered nurse, a home manager, a regional support manager and an operations manager.
Fiona has both professional and personal experiences of supporting people living with dementia and physical disabilities and believes that this has enabled her to have empathy with the individuals Prestwick Care supports.
Fiona’s focus is on improving the experience of those living in the care homes by continually looking for ways that improvements can be made. She has a good understanding of the requirements of both the CQC and the local authorities and uses this to support the home managers to provide exceptional care and support for the individuals living in the care homes.
