Key Responsibilities
- Drive, establish and maintain our CORE values throughout your team.
- Provide high-quality care and support to residents ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Supervise and train junior care staff, fostering their professional development.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Assist residents with daily living activities including mobility, bathing, and meals.
- Monitor and record patients’ progress, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss resident status, clinical and care strategies.
Required Skills & Experience
- [Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role within the care home industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanour with a genuine desire to help others.
- Knowledge of care planning and assessment procedures.
- Certification in relevant health care and safety qualifications.
- English Proficiency of a level that the responsibilities of the employee can be undertaken effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
