Celebrating Success Together at Covent House

At Covent House, we believe that every achievement is worth celebrating – not just as a team, but as one big family. On Tuesday 25th November, our home was filled with joy, music, and heartfelt pride as we came together to mark two incredible milestones: our recently awarded “Good” CQC rating and our outstanding 5-star Environmental Health rating.

These achievements reflect far more than formal inspections; they represent the daily dedication, compassion, and hard work that our staff put into making Covent House a warm, safe, and thriving place to live. It was only fitting that we celebrated in a way that truly captured the spirit of our home.

To make the day extra special, we welcomed Kevin Finnigan, a talented local singer from Birtley, whose music had residents, families, and staff smiling, singing along, and even dancing. The atmosphere was electric – a reminder of how important moments of joy and connection are within care communities.

No celebration is complete without something sweet, and we were delighted to serve cupcakes from Jen’s Cakes & Bakes. They were a huge hit with everyone, adding a delicious touch to an already wonderful day.

What made the event truly memorable was seeing staff, residents, relatives, and our Senior Team celebrating side by side. Their ongoing support and teamwork have been central to our success, and this gathering was a beautiful reflection of the family spirit we hold so dearly at Covent House.

We couldn’t be prouder of our team. Their commitment to delivering high-quality care, creating meaningful experiences, and putting residents at the heart of everything we do is what makes Covent House a standout home in our community. These ratings are not just awards – they are a testament to their passion and dedication.
