A Spooktacular Halloween Across Prestwick Care Homes

Halloween at Prestwick Care was full of fun, laughter, and creativity this year, as our residents, staff, and families came together to celebrate in true spooky style! Across all our homes, there was a wonderful buzz of excitement as everyone got involved in arts, crafts, music, and games – proving once again that there’s no age limit when it comes to enjoying a good Halloween celebration.

Creative Carving and Laughter at Bede House

At Bede House, residents, staff, and family members joined forces for a fantastic pumpkin carving activity. The room was filled with music, laughter, and plenty of spooky spirit as everyone showed off their carving skills. It was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, sharing stories, and getting into the Halloween mood – a true example of how these moments bring joy and connection to everyday life in our homes.

A Wizardly Week at Heatherfield

Over at Heatherfield, Halloween turned into a week-long celebration with a magical Wizard of Oz theme! Residents and families worked hard creating colourful scarecrows for the much-anticipated Scarecrow Competition, filling the home with creativity and teamwork. The festivities ended on a high note with a wonderful pantomime performance of The Wizard of Oz by our talented team – complete with laughter, applause, and plenty of smiles all around.

Fun and Friendship at Covent House

Meanwhile, at Covent House, it was all about music, fun, and friendship. Residents began the day with a cheerful sing-along before diving into a lively pumpkin carving session. One of our residents, George, especially loved getting hands-on with his pumpkin design! The day was a heartwarming celebration of togetherness, as families, residents, and staff all joined in to make lasting memories.
