A Night to Remember: Belle Vue Sunderland’s Annual Fundraising Event Raises £2,078!
On Saturday 11th October, the team, residents, and families from Belle Vue Care Home in Sunderland came together at the Lakeside Club for our much-loved annual fundraising evening and it was nothing short of spectacular!
The room was buzzing with excitement as everyone gathered to enjoy an evening of live entertainment, laughter, and dancing. Once again, the incredible Top Hat and Heels took to the stage and delivered a first-class performance that had the audience singing along and the dance floor full all night. Their ongoing support and energy make them an essential part of this special event each year, and we are so grateful for their contribution.
An Evening of Fun, Friendship, and Fundraising
This annual event is one of the highlights of the Belle Vue calendar. It’s a wonderful opportunity for residents, families, friends, and staff to come together and celebrate our close-knit care home community. Many of our residents look forward to this evening for months – it’s a chance to socialise, dance, and make new memories with loved ones.
We’re thrilled to announce that, thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended, we raised an amazing £2,078.00 for our Residents’ Fund. The money was raised through ticket sales, raffles, our exciting “big card” game, and kind donations made throughout the night. Tickets were just £10 each, making it an affordable and enjoyable night out that also supports a great cause.
Every pound raised goes directly into enhancing life at Belle Vue, funding activities, day trips, entertainment, and special treats for our residents throughout the year. It’s these experiences that truly enrich daily life in our home and help us continue to provide a warm, engaging, and happy environment for everyone who lives here.
A Huge Thank You to Our Community
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success – from our dedicated staff who organised the event, to the families, local businesses, and community members who contributed prizes and donations. Your kindness and enthusiasm mean so much to us all.
