About
Brunswick House provides 41 en-suite single bedrooms, spacious communal facilities over three floors and relaxing landscaped gardens for residents and their families to enjoy.
Each of the bedrooms feature en-suite facilities, with specialist furniture and mobility aids where required to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents. LCD televisions and unlimited internet access are standard.
Residents can relax in the privacy of their bedroom or in any of Brunswick House’s communal lounges which offer a range of formal and informal spaces to chat with other residents or family and friends and participate in activities and celebrations.
Additional facilities include fully accessible bathrooms, shower rooms and WCs on each floor which are available to all residents to use. The home also benefits further from lift access to all floors.
Externally, Brunswick House boasts landscaped secluded gardens to three sides, with seating and planted areas, giving residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy the scents and colours of the many shrubs and flowers. Some of the upper floor bedrooms benefit from a Juliette balcony, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of their own room.
We understand the importance of independence and encourage our residents to participate, where possible, in the many and varied activities which take place at Brunswick House. Activities include gentle exercise, physiotherapy, bingo, cards, cinema nights, carpet bowls, art classes and music, as well as celebrations for our residents and their families. We also provide additional services, such as hairdressing, chiropody, dental care and podiatry.
Each element of care provided at Brunswick House is bespoke, with residents’ specific nutritional, social and healthcare preferences recorded and incorporated into person-centred care plans.
